Windycon takes place Friday, 9 October 2026 – Sunday, 11 October 2026 at Hyatt Regency O'Hare Chicago, Rosemont, United States.

This year's theme, Sanctuary Among the Stars, was inspired by the countless alien worlds, distant civilizations, and unlikely alliances that fill the science fiction we love and by the people who gather here to celebrate them. This year, we invite you to make Windycon your sanctuary among the stars, a place to explore new ideas, encounter new perspectives, and find comfort in a community that values what makes each of us unique. Just as the best science fiction teaches us, it is our differences that help us survive, grow, and build something better together.
