Kaidomi Otaku membership terms

Last updated: 1 September 2026

Plain-language terms for the optional Kaidomi Otaku membership. They do not replace any mandatory consumer rights.

1. Who provides the membership

The provider is Anyjoi GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 45, 12524 Berlin, Germany. Contact: contact@anyjoi.com.

2. What Otaku includes

Otaku is an optional supporter membership. It funds Kaidomi's catalogue, community, maintenance and continued development. While the membership is active, the account receives the Otaku profile ring and mark shown before purchase.

Your existing library, crests, posts, exports and the ad-free Kaidomi app remain available without Otaku. Features that are not shown as included before purchase are not part of the current membership.

3. Price, term and renewal

The available terms are EUR 6.99 per month and EUR 59.00 per year. There is no free trial. The exact amount, currency and billing period are shown again before payment.

The membership renews automatically for the selected period until cancelled. A cancellation stops the next renewal; access normally continues through the period already paid for.

4. Payment provider and account

A membership bought on the website is handled by Stripe. A membership bought in the iOS app is handled by Apple under the App Store purchase terms. Kaidomi stores bounded provider references and membership status so access can follow the signed-in account across the app and web; Kaidomi does not store a full card number or CVC.

Only a live provider confirmation activates the public Otaku mark. Test and sandbox purchases remain separate and do not grant live benefits.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time using the membership controls in your Kaidomi account. Apple memberships are managed in the Apple Account subscriptions screen; Stripe memberships are cancelled directly in Kaidomi at the end of the paid billing period.

Direct account cancellation immediately confirms the exact access end date. If the account controls cannot be used, the separate cancellation-help page records the exact declaration and provides an electronic confirmation that can be downloaded and kept. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not itself request a refund.

6. Withdrawal for web purchases

If you are a consumer and conclude the membership online, you generally have 14 days from contract conclusion to withdraw without giving a reason. Use the withdrawal page linked from the membership controls in your Kaidomi account or send an unambiguous declaration to contact@anyjoi.com before the deadline.

The website first lets you review your identifying details and declaration, then records the withdrawal only after you press the clearly labelled confirmation button. It immediately provides an electronic confirmation with the exact receipt time and an immutable declaration fingerprint.

After a valid withdrawal, payments received are returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal reaches us, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without cost to you. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

7. Availability and changes

Kaidomi may maintain, repair and improve the service. Material changes to the paid membership will be communicated before they take effect. We will not silently move existing free core functions behind this membership.

8. Applicable rights

German law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. Statutory warranty, withdrawal, cancellation and data-protection rights are not limited by these terms.
