Introduction: Type-Moon is a Japanese game company that was founded by artist Takashi Takeuchi and writer Kinoko Nasu, who were also schoolmates. The names "TYPE-MOON" and "Notes." come from one of their early works, Notes..

History: Originally formed as a Doujin Soft in 2000 and created the popular visual novel Tsukihime, but turned into a Commercial Organization on January 30, 2004 and in the same year, they released their PC-based eroge visual novel game Fate/stay night, which is their most well known title.
