Source biography

After graduating from Chiyoda Institute of Technology he joined Office AO where he worked as an animator. He later joined Shaft in 2004 as a subcontractor, and he became Akiyuki Shinbou's right hand until 2009. When he stopped working for Shaft, he found his new home at studio Silver Link, where he is to-date known as their most prominent director. Noted for directing shows such as ef: A Tale of Melodies, Baka to Test and Kokoro Connect.
