Source biography
He graduated from Musashino Art University. He was raised in Tohoku, and now lives and works in Tokyo. Although initially planning on becoming a musician, pilot or actor, he chose the profession of mangaka at the age of 24. His first successful serial was the futuristic _Eden_, published in Afternoon from 1997. His short stories have also been collected in book format.
