Brenda Hickey

BRENDA HICKEY is a comic artist and writer from Prince Edward Island, Canada. She got her start in the comic industry illustrating IDW's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series, working on the main series as well as many of the mini series. In 2018 she branched out and illustrated Ward's Valley”, an original graphic novel written by Bobby Curnow and published by Top Shelf. Her creator owned book Halls of the Turnip King was published in January 2020 by Pegamoose Press. Currently she is writing/illustrating comics for the Netflix original Aggretsuko, created by Sanrio and published by Oni Press, as well as new Pegamoose Press graphic novel Butterfly House, her first collaboration work with husband and fellow comic artist Troy Little.
