DAOKO

Biography: DAOKO released her first album, *"Hyper Girl: Mukougawa no Onna no Ko"* in December 2012 through *Low High Who? Production*. In December 2013 she released a sophomore album titled *"GRAVITY"*. She received a lot of attention for her collaboration with TeddyLoid for *"Me!Me!Me!"* (a song featured in an animated short for Nihon Animator Mihonichi) in November 2014. DAOKO was nominated for Next Break Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2015.

DAOKO left *Low High Who? Production* after releasing her album *"Dimension"* in February 2015, and subsequently shut down her blog. She released her self-titled album *"DAOKO"* via *Toy's Factory* a month later. DAOKO started her first tour in January 2016.

In December 2017 she released the album *"THANK YOU BLUE"*. In December 2018 she released *"私的旅行 (Shiteki Ryouko)"*. In October 2019 she collaborated with mobile game *Dragalia Lost* to release *"DAOKO×Dragalia Lost"*.

DAOKO's 2017 single *"Uchiage Hanabi"* for Studio Shaft's anime movie Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko kara Miru ka? is the most viewed anime song on YouTube, with over 400 million views. She won the *2018 Space Shower Music Award* in the Song of the Year category for *"Uchiage Hanabi"*, and in the Best Breakthrough Artist category.

In July 2020 she released the album *"anima"*.
