Osamu Mizutani

Well known for engaging with youngsters on his night time patrols of downtown areas to prevent delinquency and rehabilitate them. At the same time, he has provided email and telephone counseling for many children from all parts of the country, dealing with issues such as truancy, psychological problems, and suicide. Drawing on his experience in the field, he currently highlights the various problems that children face today by writing for professional journals, newspapers and magazines, appearing on television and radio, and giving talks around the country.
