Be-Papas

The membership consisted of director Kunihiko Ikuhara, scriptwriter Youji Enokido, animator and character designer Shinya Hasegawa, planner Yuuichirou Oguro and mangaka Chiho Saitou. The group was intended to allow the animation production staff, who were previously rarely recognized as authors, to stand out in the shoes of original creators.

They group disbanded following the release of Adolescence of Utena. Though, Ikuhara and Saitou later collaborated on the 2001 manga series The World Exists for Me, the authorship of which was credited to Saitou and Be-Papas.

Animator Norimitsu Suzuki has also said to have been involved to an unknown extent.
